How much does the retreat cost per night?

The cost is $200 per night, all year round. There is a two night minimum stay requirement. There is a maximum stay of 14 nights (please contact us if you require a longer stay).This price is for two adults.

How many people can stay?

Burr-wood Gardens Retreat has a maximum guest capacity of 2 adults. There is a King Size bed in a seperate bedroom.. Please refer to the photos if necessary.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer gift vouchers.  Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can email us to create one for you.

 

Are children allowed?

We are unable to accommodate children. 

 

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is anytime after 2pm and check out is 10am. You can check in later than 2pm however we recommend coming as early as possible to make the most of your stay. There is a self check in option via a Lock Box and passcode which we will provide after booking.

 

Is food provided or do we bring our own?​

 A few basics will be provided for you, however we strongly suggest you stop at one of the supermarkets you will pass on the way to the gardens and pick up some food. The kitchen is equipped with essential cookware and dinnerware and has a fridge freezer.

Supplies include​

• Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate

• Salt, Pepper and Oil 

• Fresh Milk

Can we drive all the way to the Gardens?​

Yes, there is steep tar sealed driveway meandering through bush to the property with plenty of secure parking.

​

Can I bring my dog?

No sorry, as Burr-wood Gardens Retreat is not securely fenced for visiting dogs we are unable to cater for this.

Is Netflix available in the retreat?

Yes, there is a SMART TV with Netflix and other apps.

​

Where is the nearest medical centre?

If you have a minor medical incident, there is a first aid kit located in the bathroom drawer. 

For medical emergencies, please dial 111 and request an ambulance (there is cellphone reception and 4G throughout the gardens.The nearest medical centre is  located in Katikati township.

What do I do if something goes wrong or I can’t find what I need?

A Retreat is the perfect opportunity to unplug and wind down from phones and computers, however we recommend that you still bring your mobile phone just in case. The site is in range for mobile and 4G reception and there is also wifi available. You are welcome to message or call us at any time during your stay.

Are there others onsite during our stay?

The Retreat is attached to the owners house but has its own private entrance. There will not be garden visits booked during your stay. The owners may or may not be onsite during your stay but you will be given complete privacy. If you wish to be welcomed onsite and given a tour of the gardens this can be arranged.

Does our stay include use of the spa pool?

You are more than welcome to use the spa pool during your stay between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
